The price was right, and even though I came financed, they were eager to see whether I could get a better rate. It really was my kind of experience. There wasn’t a whole lot of unnecessary posturing or overblown conversation, but everyone was friendly and helpful nonetheless. On my test drives. They pointed out things that they knew I’d like, but they also made me aware of things to ensure I knew what I was getting into. I got a Honda Civic Sports Touring, and they made the decision easier by hashing out details with me—it had slightly less miles than the Accord I was initially interested in, but not by much. The prices were very similar, so that wasn’t going to make or break the decision. The Civic is smaller, and I have a kid. The Accord also drives more smoothly, but only a little. The Civic steers more tightly, accelerates faster, and has a significantly better sound system at top trim. The warranty lasts longer. You get the idea. The point is, they didn’t focus on a *particular Accord* because they were “trying to get rid of it,” or it would be an “easier sale.” They legitimately seemed like they wanted our interests to align and for us both to benefit. They didn’t waste my time or reveal any preconceived notions. I’m not going to lie, I hate large purchases like this. They were well prepared. Once I arrived, they asked me if I were interested in anything in specific, and based on the information I already provided and my reply, they compiled a list based on my interests and were more than happy to branch out as we looked to find a car that fit my ideals. The price was right, and even though I came financed, they were eager to see whether I could get a better rate. It really was my kind of experience. There wasn’t a whole lot of unnecessary posturing or overblown conversation, but everyone was friendly and helpful nonetheless. On my test drives. They pointed out things that they knew I’d like, but they also made me aware of things to ensure I knew what I was getting into. I got a Honda Civic Sports Touring, and they made the decision easier by hashing out details with me—it had slightly less miles than the Accord I was initially interested in, but not by much. The prices were very similar, so that wasn’t going to make or break the decision. The Civic is smaller, and I have a kid. The Accord also drives more smoothly, but only a little. The Civic steers more tightly, accelerates faster, and has a significantly better sound system at top trim. The warranty lasts longer. You get the idea. The point is, they didn’t focus on a *particular Accord* because they were “trying to get rid of it,” or it would be an “easier sale.” They legitimately seemed like they wanted our interests to align and for us both to benefit. They didn’t waste my time or reveal any preconceived notions. I’m not going to lie, I hate large purchases like this. The anxiety associated with using such large amounts of money is among my least favorite things. It’s a big deal— safety, independence, and financial stability are all on the line. End of the day, I feel fortunate. After having driven it a couple of weeks, I can say that I certainly don’t regret it so far. After about a week, I was having some trouble updating the system and needed to adjust my tire pressure and update THAT in the system. Even that was pleasant. Hop on the app, schedule an appointment in about a minute and a half, show up to the appointment and they took care of me no problem. I even had the option to borrow a car and pick mine up later, but I was happy just walking to a nearby Olive Garden. They were done shortly after I finished eating. Legit car spot. I do recommend. As a side note, this guy Norm Reeves must be rich as hell, damn, lol.
